Introduction
I have never used SELinux and have avoided the added complexity this adds to a linux install as I have used other methods to secure the servers I manage.

However a recently installed new local development server had it enabled by default and it was preventing apache to install so I decided it was time to learn it rather than just disabling it. This is a sideline project just for my own personal curiosity. I will place notes here to cover what I do and discover.
